My name is Andrea and I am 23. I was born and raised in a small town in Tennessee, and then went to college at Memphis College of Art. I managed to graduate in three years [not the five that most make it out in] and I am currently starting my own business. So needless to say I have a lot on my plate. My writing pen name is Yukihime [Yukisan if the other is taken, ^^] and my art is posted under Fieryamazon [currently @ DA].

My current obsession is writing from the Inuyasha universe, with my focus on pairing Kagome with Sesshoumaru. Though I have always been head-strong about the pairing of characters in the various anime and mangas I obsess over, I have to say that Kagome and Sesshoumaru are the only 'outside-of-the-tradition' pairing I actually like!! The possible storylines around these two couples are plentiful and, as I have read, watched and listened to what is out 'there' - the possibility that these characters could be together is viable. I still love to read ( and dare I say write ) KagomexInuyasha fics, but my current obsession is writing KagomexSesshoumaru fics. ^^

Please bear with me as I write and post the work. Sometimes it is very hard for me to get through my 'barriers' as easily and quickly as I would like. Life tends to get in the way and I do have bills to pay. There are a several stories that I am currently working on, though I am not sure what I will eventually post. My thanks goes to the wonderful people willing to beta for me; Marcia and Jenn. I truly appreciate your help.

I will be more than happy to help you come up with something of your own.

[ Progress Report ]

The Gates is going through revisions so the story is currently on haitus. Chapter nine is 90% done but my desire to rework the prior chapters delays me finishing it, plus I want to re-post everything together. This story doesn't get many responses anyway, so I don't see any harm in waiting. I have big plans for Gates (even if it doesn't generate a big fanbase) and I don't want to screw myself in trying to write something that, in my eyes, will be a big complicated mess.

It has taken me a while, but I have finally decided to post An Unexpected Love and bon vivant. The responses were much larger than I expected and, seeing how things turned out, I tend to write more on these than Gates. Reviews really are influential you know.

[ Commission Guidelines ]

I am willing to write short stories [chapter cound less than ten] and one-shots. As such, I am requiring that I at least know and understand the original series and characters. I must have seen it to write about it. I have included a list of the series I can write from. At the moment, I am not taking any fanart/anime commissions. However, I am willing to accept any art-related request aside from that.
